Franchise Development and Management:

From his first challenge at Bose Professional products division in 1984 Richard has always lead in sales performance. At Bose he was eastern regional sales manager. Transforming a failing network of dealers into a 500% increase in the territory. During his involvement with Bose Professional co developed a powered Acoustmass speaker array that was intended for live performance. Successfully launched the 12 foot long Acoustic Wave Cannon on a national level. He has awarded national and international franmchises.

Business owner and sales leader:

Time was right for Richard to begin his own sales company to focus on a smaller region of the country to be closer to his family; He launched Hanson Sales and Marketing. A independent rep company that served Minnesota, the Dakotas and Western Wisconsin. Launched in 1985 and retired from Hanson Sales & Marketing in 1998. During those years pioneered many brands and even developed manufactured and sold product for Best Buy. Richard has consistently year after year earned many top sales award from many companies represented. Richard has been able to take this experience and use it to identify businesses for developemtn into franchises.

Turnaround Agent:

Richard specializes in turning around businesses. Enhancing systems for small to medium sized companies in the full scope of business from manufacturing to the sales marketing of consumer electronics and professional audio products. General assessment of need, Streamlining manufacturing processes, sourcing Asian and overseas suppliers, Training, strategic planning, rebranding, image building, marketing design packaging, product development, project management and profitability audit. Richard recognizes implementation must be an easy transition of any change or it can create resistance leading to failure and is committed to developing workable plans that can product results.
